ORIGIN
Sparkling Wine Bordeaux Crémant Blanc
Château Cazeau boasts a magnificent Girondine chartreuse, whose origins date back to the 16th century. It is ideally located in Gornac, along one of the oldest routes of the Entre-Deux-Mers region, just a few kilometers east of Sauveterre de Guyenne.
Its vineyard spans over 300 hectares, benefiting from an exceptional location on clay-limestone hillsides reaching an altitude of 110 meters, with predominantly southern exposure. The vines, planted all around the château, are thoughtfully distributed between red and white grape varieties according to the terroirs.
With an average age of 35 years, the vines are carefully cultivated using traditional methods, with respect for the environment. The large winery is equipped with all modern facilities (temperature control, pneumatic presses, micro-oxygenation) necessary for producing fine wines.
